Jewelry Care

Each piece is made by hand from precious and recycled metals. With proper care, your jewelry will age gracefully — developing a soft patina that reflects the way it’s worn and cherished.

Wear & Handling

Avoid wearing your jewelry while swimming, showering, or exercising. Water, chlorine, and sweat can dull the surface and alter the finish over time. Keep pieces away from household chemicals, cleaning products, and perfumes.

Cleaning

Do not use liquid or submersion cleansers. A soft, dry polishing cloth is all that’s needed to gently restore shine. Avoid abrasive cloths or pads that could scratch the surface.

Storage

Store jewelry in a dry place, away from humidity. The original box or pouch is ideal. For silver and shibuichi pieces, storing them in a small plastic bag helps slow oxidation and maintain their finish.

Material Notes

It’s natural for shibuichi to oxidize over time, shifting to soft grey tones with warm copper traces. This surface change is part of the material’s character.
